I added flowers and grasses form my backyard in order for my shoe to represent nature and then drew a background to represent urbanization. It represents how our cities are growing and overtaking wildlife. We have to work out a way for both worlds to coincide and one way is to be mindful of our carbon footprint. If we have a positive carbon footprint then we can save our wildlife.
Vaudrey, this is very creative. I really like how your piece has a meaning and a message. I think the drawing is great also. It does not take away from the wire sculpture, instead it enhances the piece. Your work is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love this whole thing. The shoe is so pretty and the background is so good. The colors of the shoe and the flowers give it such a natural look to it. I love it.
